Troll. The topic is adding the information, not his skills. We don't need your smartass remarks on that.

Anyways, I think this would be a wonderful idea. The UI needs more customization for sure. I already know of ways to *alter* various things that are displayed *evil grin*

OffTopic: if this "UI" is using XML files for displaying the info it already does, I dont see why it would be that hard to accomplish.

Yeah, I'm fricken tired of using ASM and C to do it ><
But let's not borderline things we're NOT supposed to do to get things that we WANT everyone to have.

I like the idea, but I think it should be an option. None of the characters I play have any need to see other's conditions or energy, cause I can't do much to help with either anyway.

One argument against it could be that it decreases the need for communication within the team. Sadly it's very hard to find a group (I play most with strangers and a couple of friends) that does that, but it's a real joy when you have people communication during a mission.

Still /signed.

Exclamation monk friendly design please

looks very neat...
it would be nice if it can be *redesign for more monk friendly*.
i play monk mainly...and i stare at healthbars all the time.
"separated healthbar" means i have to move my mouse "extra distance" to reach healthbar of other ally. furthermore, since there is a gap between each healthbar...there is potential miss-click healing situation.
since healing is very time-critical, miss-click would bring disaster for monk.

idea is solid though

I don't like seeing the conditions and hexes. Proper hex and condition stacking is a fairly important part of the game. For PvE only, both those ideas would work well, but the second idea would be pretty bad for PvP.

Can you say good idea? Customization would be a good thing, though. Being able to toss out certain parts, for example.

/signed, ideally with a way to choose between the first and second versions.

But! While I support the idea of being able to see teammates' hexes and conditions, I don't think you should be able to pick which one to remove. Removal is good enough as it is; there's no need to destroy the concept of covers.

you know you can map on the keypad numbers 1-8 for each party member. When i play my monk i dont use mouse at all. get use to that, youll be a much better healer/monk.

This way for monks, you can remove a specific condition/hex from an ally. Also if you dbl click on the hex it should select(target) the foe for you that casted that hex, condition.
This would be a great change, as a ranger is annoying to be casting Troll Ugent on myself only to have a monk waste their energy casting Healing Breeze on me as well.

The energy thing has been requested so many times and I still don't know why A.net haven't implemented it. That and toggle guild capes... I'm still waiting A.net hehe

not sure how many internet overhead this will add. (how many more lag)

anyway this would be a good idea if the added lag isn't that significant.
